This winters season is over. We have just finished again a successful winter season in term of White-tailed Eagle photography sessions complemented with the Buzzard hide’s activity.

The Well Hide was functioning with the new side compartment and now four person fitting in comfort all day was bringing incredible moments to capture for many of our guests. The pool in front adding an extra chance for something special and – especially when frozen – more intimate side of the Eagles were seen as they tried to deal with the conditions around the hide.

Eagle Hide nr. 1 with a darker forest background and a set up designed to have the opportunity for exceptional flight shots were performing well, nearly the same number of Eagles visiting this hide as the Well Hide is strengthening the reputation of the spot.

It was an exceptional year at the Eagle Hide nr.2 as well. Laying further South and further away we have different White-tailed Eagle individuals presenting at this hide, pushing the numbers further up if someone is counting the actual birds photographed. Built in a classic ‘puszta’ environment the hide has a unique endless horizon background. Eastern Imperial Eagle was photographed here a few times and the highest count was reaching 40 individuals of White-tailed Eagle this season.

We had the best season behind us with Saker Falcon. A pair was visiting our Buzzard hide in record number of occasions this season. We had a string reaching 20 days when every day they were coming down in front of the hide. We hope they will be coming back like they did this season in the upcoming years.
